A Loxone system does not add intelligence to existing hardware — it replaces the entire control layer with a single, programmable brain. Every circuit, every sensor, every output is part of one coherent system.
That means lighting, climate, security, shading, access, and audio all share the same logic. When you arrive home, every system responds — not because you pressed a button, but because the system knows you're there.
If you are an architect or M&E consultant, we provide full system specifications — including zone schedules, cable routes, and device placement — co-ordinated with your drawings from first fix stage.
Unlike cloud-dependent systems, a Loxone Miniserver stores and processes all logic locally. Occupancy schedules, camera feeds, alarm states — none of it leaves the building. The system operates fully if the internet connection fails.

Integrated alarm, CCTV, and perimeter monitoring. No consumer panels. No system that fails when the internet goes down.
Security tied to access and presence — so when the system knows the house is empty, it arms itself. When you arrive, it stands down.

04 — Shading
Daylight managed. Glare eliminated.
Motorised blinds and curtains driven by sun position, time of day, and occupancy — not buttons. The system tracks the solar arc and adjusts position to prevent glare without losing natural light.
Coordinated with lighting scenes: as shading descends at dusk, the lighting compensates automatically. No intervention required.

05 — Access
Entry on your terms.
NFC, biometric, and code-based entry. Gate, garage, front door, and internal zones. Visitor management. Tied to presence and security scenes.
06 — Audio
Audio tied to the logic of the house.
Whole-home and zoned audio. In-ceiling, in-wall, and outdoor. Source management across rooms. Integrated into presence scenes so the system responds to occupancy, not inputs.
The Loxone App
Full control. No engineering degree required.
The Loxone app gives you complete visibility of every system in the building — lighting scenes, temperature per room, energy consumption, security state, and EV charging — on a single screen.
Control is available locally and remotely, with end-to-end encryption. The app connects directly to your Miniserver — not through a third-party cloud service.
The Loxone Miniserver
The brain of the building.
Not the cloud.
The Loxone Miniserver is a DIN-rail mounted controller that runs every logic rule, every automation, and every schedule for your entire property — locally, without a cloud subscription or recurring licence fee.
If the internet fails, every automated function continues without interruption. All logic is processed on-site. The system does not depend on any external service.
